On August 10, 2025, in the heart of the Akmola region, on the picturesque coast of the city of Kokshetau, a grandiose cultural arbat "Abai Alemi" was held, dedicated to the immortal legacy of the great educator and thinker Abai Kunanbayev. This event became not only a celebration of culture and art, but also a significant moment for the spiritual renewal of the people, symbolizing the fusion of national identity and modern art.

The event was held in the open air and gathered more than 10,000 spectators and participants. The Cultural Arbat was divided into seven unique zones, each of which revealed one side of the great world of Abai, inspiring visitors to reflect and immerse themselves in culture and art.

Features of Arbat:

The national music zone is the regional folklore ensemble festival "Abai Dana, Abai Dara".

The vocal zone is a competition for young performers "Undi suysen, menshe suy" and a platform for "Kazakh karaoke".

The literary zone includes the poetry contest "Olen sozdin Patshasi", literary meetings, book exhibitions and fairs.

Theater area – productions on the theme "Danalyk bastauy – Abai".

The zone of fine arts is the competition of young artists "Zhyl Mezgilderi".

"The City of Masters" is an exhibition and fair of national crafts and products.

The main stage is a solemn concert with the participation of the Kenzhebek Kumisbekov Orchestra of folk instruments, People's Artists of Kazakhstan and creative collectives of Kokshetau.

In addition, food courts with national Kazakh cuisine were organized in the festive space.

"Abai Alemi" has become not just a cultural event, but a vivid embodiment of spiritual rebirth and renewal of national consciousness. This great holiday once again confirmed that Abai's legacy is an indestructible core of national identity that will forever live in the hearts of the people.
