The regional akyns’ aitys titled "Jetisu – jyrdyn bulaǵy" was held at the I. Zhansugurov Palace of Culture in the city of Taldykorgan. The aitys began at 10:00 AM, and the zhyrshi-termeshi competition started at 3:00 PM. The award ceremony was held at 6:00 PM.

The main goal of the aitys to celebrate the achievements of independent Kazakhstan, as well as to highlight the successes, socio-economic development, and culture of the Zhetysu region on the occasion of its third anniversary. Additionally, a mandatory condition of the aitys was the artistic reflection and poetic glorification of the figures Baktybai Zholbarysuly and Chokan Valikhanov in honor of the 190th anniversary of their birth, as well as the 120th anniversary of Kanabek Bayseitov.

Eight akyns participated in the aitys, and 21 artists took part in the zhyrshi-termeshi competition, showcasing their talents.

The jury panel for the akyns’ aitys and the zhyrshi-termeshi competition:

1. Aytakyn Bulgakov – Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Chief Akyn of the Zhetysu Region.
2. Amire Arin – Poet, laureate of the international literary award "Alash."
3. Nusipbay Abdrakhym – Poet, Honored Writer of Kazakhstan.
4. Zhangeldy Nemerebay – Distinguished Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, official representative of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan for the Zhetysu Region, poet.
5. Lyazzat Zhanamanova – Distinguished Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, zhyrshi-termeshi.
6. Mukhtar Kumisbek – Poet, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan.
7. Eskhat Nurali – Zhyrshi-termeshi, laureate of republican competitions.

The aitys participants and zhyrshi-termeshi performers were awarded cash certificates, diplomas, and prizes.
