In Shymkent, on the occasion of Family Day, the Shymkent Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs organized a large-scale cultural and social event that demonstrated the talents and perseverance of young people with disabilities. The main goal of this two-day project was to draw public attention to special people, promote their achievements in sports and art, and create conditions for their social adaptation.
Sport is a school of courage
Sports tournaments held on September 11 included table tennis, chess, and togyzkumalak competitions. These competitions were not just a competition, but a vivid demonstration of the perseverance and determination of young people who do not give in to various life challenges.
The winners received their well-deserved awards:
• Table tennis: 1st place – Mamazhanov Rozimurat, 2nd place – Narzullaev Arslanbek, 3rd place – Zhakypbek Dastan.
• Togyzkumalak: 1st place – Ergeshbai Kaisar, 2nd place – Aitbayeva Aisulu, 3rd place – Karashash Erkebulan.
• Chess: 1st place – Nurak Bakytzhan, 2nd place – Arip Sundet, 3rd place – Kudratov Gulamzhan.
They were awarded medals, cups, wreaths, and substantial financial prizes. These awards are the fruit of their labor and a testament to their perseverance.
Art is the mirror of the soul.
The creative evening held on September 12th impressed the entire audience with the passion and talent of these exceptional young people. The evening, which combined song and dance, literature and crafts, was a true celebration of inspiration and sincerity.
During the evening, 40 letters of appreciation and bouquets of flowers were presented, and 10 young talents were given mobile phones as an incentive prize. This was not just a gift, but a great support that instilled confidence in their hearts.
The bridge to social adaptation
Another important part of the project is organized excursions to historical and cultural sites in the city. These trips not only increase the cultural awareness of young people, but also contribute to their full integration into society and spiritual development.
These events are not a one-day celebration, but a bridge of trust built into the future. After all, supporting special people is a measure of a society's civilization and humanity.
As the organizers noted:
"Through these events, we have shown the unlimited potential of young people with disabilities. They are distinguished by their resilience, which is an example to society. The most important thing is to increase their confidence and guide them on a great path in life."
These cultural and social projects in Shymkent are a big step towards strengthening inclusiveness in society and unlocking the potential of exceptional young people. Victory in sports, inspiration in art, and activity in society - all this has increased their enthusiasm for real life.
These projects have shown us one thing clearly: exceptional young people are not disabled, they are the owners of unlimited opportunities.
