Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with representatives of Ludovika University Center for Turkic Studies: strengthening academic and cultural cooperation

Budapest, August 15, 2025 - Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary Abzal Saparbekuly met with representatives of the Ludovika University Center for Turkic Studies David Biro and Liliana Smiech. The meeting discussed the prospects for developing academic and cultural cooperation, as well as issues of promoting the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.

During the talks, the parties discussed possible areas for joint initiatives, including the organization of cultural and educational events aimed at deepening knowledge about Kazakhstan and the Turkic world as a whole.

Reference: The University was founded in 2011 as a result of the merger of the Hungarian National Defense University and the Hungarian Royal Academy. The predecessor of the educational institution is considered to be the Hungarian Royal Military Academy “Ludovika”, created by the decision of the National Assembly in 1808. The university has faculties such as public administration and international studies, military sciences and officer training, law enforcement, and aquatic sciences.
