On September 3, 2025, a personal citizen's meeting was held in the Turkestan District, led by Deputy Akim Bakhyt Meldebekov . The event was designed to allow residents to directly address their concerns and receive qualified responses from government officials. This format of meetings not only facilitates dialogue between the public and local administration but also builds trust and mutual understanding.

The main goal of such meetings is to hear pressing issues people face in their daily lives, discuss possible solutions, and incorporate citizen suggestions. District leadership intends to adapt the region's socioeconomic development to the real needs of the population.

Several issues were raised at the reception, the most significant of which concerned:

  • the need to install new bus stops and improve the quality of public transport;

  • road repair and improvement of road surface quality;

  • simplification of procedures for registration of housing documents;

  • improving mechanisms for providing social assistance.

Each issue was reviewed separately, and relevant specialists were assigned specific tasks. For example, road service representatives were tasked with preparing a plan for installing new bus stops and paving streets. Social workers were instructed to review the assistance process and make it more transparent and accessible.

Residents who attended the reception expressed gratitude for the opportunity to directly raise their concerns.

Pensioner Kaldygul apa shared her pain:
"The road issue on our street still hasn't been resolved. I was able to convey this in person today and am glad that specialists have promised to address the issue soon. I hope we'll see results soon."

And student Erkebulan noted:
"We wait a very long time for public transport in the evenings. If new stops were added, it would be a great relief for us. I made this suggestion, and they listened to me attentively, for which I am grateful."

Such responses demonstrate that the population is ready for open dialogue and expects real support from the authorities.

Such meetings are held regularly in the Turkestan district. Last year, thanks to these meetings, several streets were repaired and new public facilities were built.

In 2024, residents most frequently raised issues regarding the installation of playgrounds and improving school conditions. Most of the issues were resolved in stages. In 2025, the focus shifted to transportation and road infrastructure. This indicates that the level of public demand is changing, and the administration is striving to keep pace with these changes.

Deputy District Akim Bakhyt Meldebekov emphasized that all requests will be closely monitored. He noted that no complaint will be ignored, and their progress will be transparently reported. This approach is aimed at strengthening public trust in local authorities.

He also reminded residents that they can contact the administration not only during receptions but also through social media and electronic platforms. This allows for faster resolution of issues and makes the process as transparent as possible.

Such meetings are of great importance. They give residents the opportunity to voice their concerns face-to-face with government officials and receive immediate clarification. This increases public trust in government bodies.

For the administration, such meetings are also an important tool. In addition to official statistics, personal interactions provide insight into the real challenges people face on a daily basis. This information helps make more informed and effective decisions.

The citizens' reception held on September 3rd demonstrated that residents' concerns are being addressed in a timely manner. Every request was heard, and relevant services received specific instructions.

The following steps are expected in the near future:

  • intensification of work on road repairs and improvement of road surfaces;

  • installation of new bus stops;

  • improving the system of social assistance.

All these measures are aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and making everyday life more convenient.
