Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's working visit to New York continued with a roundtable discussion with representatives of major US businesses.

The Head of State drew attention to the rapid development of the expanded strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States.

– We consider America one of our important partners and confirm our interest in further developing multifaceted cooperation. It is gratifying that the United States also supports this strategic position. We were convinced of this during our conversation with President Donald Trump in December 2024. Today we had another meaningful conversation with President Trump. I express my gratitude for that. Kazakhstan highly appreciates President Trump's promotion of pragmatic diplomacy and his role in promoting peaceful resolution of conflicts from Europe and the Middle East to Asia and Africa. His constructive position and emphasis on achieving concrete results are contributing to the reduction of tensions and the increase of dialogue at a time of heightened global divisions. Such bold and determined action with a clear goal and mission deserves international recognition. In our opinion, these positions should be presented to the attention of the Organization's member states at the UN General Debate to be held tomorrow. The United States is a major investor in the Kazakh economy, having invested more than $100 billion. The two countries have achieved significant success in economic integration. We are proud of this. Currently, more than 630 American companies are successfully operating in our country. Among them are such well-known brands as Chevron, ExxonMobil, Boeing, Visa, Mastercard, Meta, Wabtec, Citibank, - said the President.
