On September 21, 2025, an important event aimed at increasing environmental culture, instilling hard work and responsibility was held in the city of Shymkent. This initiative was aimed at widely promoting among the population the main objectives of the "Clean Kazakhstan" national program, initiated by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was organized by the environmental inspectors of the Karatau District Police Department of the Shymkent City Police Department and the local police service unit of the Al-Farabi District Police Department. Senior police inspectors, teachers and school administration, as well as students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School actively participated in it.
The main goal of the event was to form an ecological culture among the younger generation, increase respect for nature conservation, and promote the values of hard work and discipline. In addition, the students were explained the benefits of caring for the environment for the sustainable development of society.
Ecological culture is not only about preserving nature, but also about the responsibility and awareness of an individual. On this occasion, police officers provided students with comprehensive information about environmental protection rules, proper sorting of household waste, and ways to save water and energy.
"Clean Kazakhstan" is a comprehensive program aimed at improving the environmental situation of the country. Its main objectives are:
maintaining cleanliness in settlements;
improving the household waste collection and recycling system;
increasing environmental literacy among the population;
careful use of natural resources;
To widely promote the values of hard work and responsibility in society.
This event, held in Shymkent, was aimed at implementing these goals of the program, starting from school walls. Because environmental education and upbringing should be given primarily to young people.
Police officers gave a special lecture and told students about the importance of environmental culture. During the lecture, the legal responsibility for actions that harm nature was also explained. For example, littering, illegal cutting of trees, or damage to green areas - they gave specific examples that lead to administrative liability.
Students were offered simple but effective ways to protect nature:
keeping the schoolyard clean;
sorting household waste;
participation in tree planting campaigns;
saving water and electricity;
to show friends and family an example of environmental culture.
This educational work helped teenagers realize that not only the state, but every citizen is responsible for environmental protection.
During the event, specially prepared informational brochures were distributed to students. The brochures briefly and clearly described the rules for sorting household waste, environmental protection measures, and the objectives of the “Clean Kazakhstan” program. Such tools create favorable conditions for young people to observe environmental standards in their daily lives.
The promotion of ecological culture was also carried out through the idea of hard work. Police officers and teachers explained that everyone's hard work is needed to keep nature clean. A hard-working person keeps his environment clean, is disciplined, and can serve as an example to society.
Thus, the environmental event was aimed at instilling in the younger generation not only environmental protection, but also general life values - hard work, diligence, and responsibility to society.
The educational work within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program, held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Shymkent, is an important step in the formation of an ecological culture. Through this event, students gained a deep understanding of the need to protect nature and learned the importance of hard work and responsibility.
In the future, such events will continue in the city's schools and other educational institutions, because the ecological stability of Kazakhstan and the well-being of future generations directly depend on the conscious actions of today's youth.
