On September 19, debates were held at the East Kazakhstan Regional Library for Cildren and Youth, where young people discussed a pressing topic: «Oylau-qabiliet-sana».

The event brought together the active readers, who are committed to comprehensive development and the enhancement of their critical thinking skills. The discussion was based on key ideas from the latest Address of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which placed special emphasis on the values of diligent work, quality education, and genuine patriotism. The debate format provided participants with a unique platform for open dialogue, exchange of opinions, and broadening of professional horizons. During the discussion, special attention was given to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The cultural program of the event included an introduction to the “100 Books of Kazakhstan” project, where participants had the opportunity to explore works selected through a readers' voting process.

The tournament brought together students from the city`s universities and colleges. Prior to the main debates, a preparatory briefing was held for the judges, followed by team presentations.

The event marked an important step in developing the intellectual potential of the region’s youth and contributed to strengthening the traditions of open dialogue and critical thinking.
