The Kuanysh market in Turkestan holds a fair on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On these days, 8 to 14 tons of socially important food products are sold daily. Today, 1,300 kilograms of beef were offered at the fair for residents at 2,600 tenge per kilogram. The market also offers meat products at commercial prices ranging from 3,700 to 3,800 tenge per kilogram.

Beef is sold at the social price at more than 50 retail outlets in Turkestan. Under the "reverse scheme" mechanism, contracts have been signed with retail chains, under which the meat (shoulder blade and brisket with bone) is sold at a set price of 2,070 tenge per kilogram.

Agricultural fairs are held regularly in the Turkestan region. A total of 16 fairs are held weekly in all districts of the region. There, meat and other socially significant food products are sold at 15-20% below market prices.
