Brasilia, October 13-15, 2025 - Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov participated in the preliminary session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (PreCOP), held in preparation for COP30.

During the preparatory ministerial meeting, thematic sessionson Global Inventory, EquitableTransition and Adaptation were held.This platform provided the parties with the opportunity to discuss priority are as in detail, identify common ground and exchange views with representatives of stakeholders and public organizations on key topics, including climate and development, adaptation and energy, with an emphasis on developing solutions and practical measures to combat climate change.

In addition, Brazil, as the COP30 chair country, presented the progress of the implementation of key initiatives, including the "Agenda for Action" and the Roadmap "from Baku to Belen to 1.3 trillion", prepared jointly with the COP29 Chair.

The delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be headed by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources at the COP30 Leaders' Summit, which will be held on November 6-7 in Belen.
