On October 4, 2025, a large-scale city-wide cleanup was organized in the Enbekshi district of Shymkent as part of the "World Cleanup Day". This event is aimed at promoting environmental culture in the district, improving the quality of life of residents by cleaning city streets, courtyards and public places. Employees of state bodies, municipal institutions, social facilities, residents, as well as representatives of the private sector actively participated in the cleanup.
The clean-up drive, organized by the Enbekshy district akimat, involved 560 employees from the district administration. The private sector was also active. TelKonyr LLP mobilized 20 employees and 3 vehicles and removed 2 tons of garbage. Vodokanal-1 LLP mobilized 30 employees and 2 vehicles and removed 2 tons of garbage. QazaqGaz Aimaq SOE mobilized 60 employees and 1 vehicle and removed 1.6 tons of garbage. In addition, Kuatzhiluortalyk-3 MCC mobilized 30 employees and 1 vehicle and removed 1 ton of garbage. The Enbekshi electricity distribution department also mobilized 30 employees and 2 vehicles and removed 1 ton of garbage.
The district municipal waste management department mobilized 200 employees and 3 vehicles to strengthen the organizational work of the Saturday, and a total of 4 tons of garbage were removed. 8 tons of garbage were removed from social facilities (109 facilities) by 3,815 employees and 11 vehicles.
In total, 10,651 employees and workers, 61 special equipment were mobilized for the Sabbil in the territory of Enbekshy district, and a total of 45.9 tons of garbage were removed. Special equipment was used to remove garbage, wash roads, and level the areas. In addition, the participants of the Sabbath observed safety rules and used special protective equipment.
