On October 4, 2025, a large-scale citywide cleanup event was held in the Enbekshi district of Shymkent as part of World Cleanup Day. The Yenbekshi District Akim's Office organized the cleanup: 560 employees and 30 pieces of equipment participated in the cleanup, removing 18 tons of waste. 3,800 residents actively participated. The Yuzhny Industrial District sent 2,000 employees with four pieces of equipment to collect two tons of waste. The Department for the Development of a Comfortable Environment sent 26 employees with one piece of equipment to remove two tons of waste. The Construction Department deployed 30 employees and one piece of equipment to remove 1.8 tons of waste.

The administration of JSC Shymkent Akk provided 20 employees and one piece of equipment, and 1.5 tons of waste were collected. The Internal Policy Department contributed 30 employees and one piece of equipment, collecting one ton of waste.

The private sector also actively participated: Telkonyr LLP provided 20 employees and three pieces of equipment, collecting two tons of waste. Vodokanal-1 LLP provided 30 employees and two pieces of equipment, collecting two tons of waste. The Shymkent branch of QazaqGaz Aimaq deployed 60 employees and one piece of equipment to remove 1.6 tons of waste. Kuatzhyluortalyk-3 LLP provided 30 employees and one piece of equipment, removing one ton of waste. The Enbekshi power supply district provided 30 employees and two pieces of equipment to remove one ton of waste.

The Yenbekshi District Police Department deployed 200 officers and three pieces of equipment, removing four tons of waste. Social institutions (109 facilities) contributed 3,815 officers and 11 pieces of equipment to remove eight tons of waste.

A total of 10,651 employees and workers participated in the cleanup in the Yenbekshi district, using 61 pieces of equipment to collect and remove 45.9 tons of waste. These figures demonstrate the scale of the event and its importance for fostering environmental awareness among the population, as well as maintaining cleanliness and order in urban areas.

During the cleanup, the following main tasks were performed: pruning dead trees and branches, mowing grass, washing roads and sidewalks, cleaning garbage areas, collecting scattered trash, clearing streets of household waste, disinfecting and painting structures, and other activities aimed at maintaining cleanliness in the area.

Each team was provided with the necessary tools and equipment for cleaning, as well as personal protective equipment to ensure safety during the work. Specialized equipment was used for garbage removal, cleaning roads and sidewalks, and leveling the area.
