An open Day for taxpayers was held at the Terenkol District State Revenue Department.

The main purpose of the event is to inform and clarify the provisions of the new Tax Code, which comes into force on January 1, 2026.

Taxpayers who came to the Open Day were provided with answers to their questions on taxation and explanations on upcoming changes. The main issues discussed at the event: ways to ensure tax legislation, reduction of tax reporting forms, value added tax (VAT), changes in special tax regimes, local taxes, individual and corporate income taxes, tax audits.

Special attention of entrepreneurs was paid to the issues of VAT registration.

Registration of a VAT payer is carried out in the form of voluntary, mandatory and conditional registration of a tax payer. The maximum turnover threshold is 10,000 MCI. An application for mandatory registration is submitted when the turnover limit is exceeded, but no later than 5 working days from the date of exceeding it. Turnover exceeding the maximum turnover threshold and committed in the period prior to the date of registration of the tax payer is recognized as taxable turnover for the period of non-registration for prosecution. A tax payer is removed from the registration register of a tax payer upon transition from the generally established taxation procedure to a special tax regime, termination of activity or liquidation of the tax payer. Deregistration due to non-achievement of the maximum threshold is not provided," the experts explained.

The event allowed the participants to better understand the key changes in tax legislation, to understand how these innovations will affect their business or personal obligations.
