Today, Shymkent Mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov presented the keys to 30 new ambulances to the city's emergency medical service during a tour.

As the mayor noted, upgrading the material and technical infrastructure of medical facilities and emergency services remains a priority for the Akimat. Upgrading the ambulance fleet is an important step in improving the quality and efficiency of emergency medical care.

The new Hyundai STARIA ambulances are fully equipped with modern medical equipment. They include cardiographs, defibrillator monitors, ventilators, electric suction devices, oxygen tanks, special stretchers, and protective shields.

In addition, the city mayor presented certificates to medical institutions for equipment purchased with funds from the sponsor, Al-Farabi Pharm Ltd. The donated equipment includes neonatal incubators, as well as functional and intensive care beds, which will improve the quality of neonatal care and ensure effective treatment for critically ill patients.

The city's mayor emphasized that systematic work to modernize the healthcare sector and improve access to medical services for Shymkent residents will continue.

It's worth noting that the city's emergency medical service currently operates from 10 substations. 115 teams, including 28 medical and 87 paramedic teams, provide emergency care to the public 24/7.
