Expansion of cooperation in the field of innovative construction technologies is discussed with Soudal Group

Turnhout, Belgium, 5 November 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belgium Roman Vassilenko visited the headquarters of Soudal Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of construction materials, sealants, foams, and industrial adhesives.

During the meeting with Chief Operating Officer Jürgen Vandervelden, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Kazakhstan and Soudal Group amid the steady growth of Kazakhstan’s construction industry, which accounts for around 6% of the national GDP.

Ambassador Vassilenko noted Kazakhstan’s growing demand for modern building technologies and the increasing role of innovation and sustainability in the sector. In this context, Soudal Group is viewed as a valuable partner for technology exchange, innovation, and the advancement of sustainable construction practices.

“Soudal Group represents European innovation and quality at its best. We are interested in deepening cooperation with the company in ways that contribute to the modernization of Kazakhstan’s construction industry,” Ambassador Vassilenko said.

Mr. Vandervelden expressed appreciation for Kazakhstan’s interest and confirmed Soudal Group’s openness to dialogue and exploring opportunities for cooperation, including technology sharing and distribution partnerships.
