On 07.11.2025, the State Revenue Department (SRD) in Karatal district held an “Open Day” for entrepreneurs and residents of the district to explain the key provisions and changes introduced by the new Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which comes into force on January 1, 2025.

Participants had the opportunity to ask specific questions on the practical application of the new Code and receive comprehensive answers from the management and leading specialists of the UGD.

During the Open Day, the employees of the UGD explained in detail the issues related to special tax regimes for small and medium-sized businesses.

Specialists explained new approaches to tax control. Control measures will now be based on the risk management system, which will reduce the burden on bona fide taxpayers and focus control exclusively on high-risk areas.

The Open Day was part of an information campaign designed to help taxpayers prepare in advance for the upcoming tax reform.
