The first stage of landscaping of a new 1.5-hectare park in the Konai microdistrict has been completed in Kostanay. The results of the work done have been verified today.

As part of the current season, trees and hedges have been planted, tartan-covered footpaths have been set up, benches, urns, gazebos, lighting and two bridges over the log.

A professional sports ground and a modern children's area are planned for next year.

Such public spaces are especially important for new neighborhoods — here residents will be able to spend time with children, play sports and relax close to home.

In general, there are 15 green zones in Kostanay today: 5 parks — Central, Pobedy, Uly Dala, Triathlon Park and a new park on the territory of Kostanay Regional University, as well as 10 landscaped squares and boulevards, including Keruen, Boulevard of Youth, Abilsai, squares on Arystanbekov and Temirbayev streets, the Shagala embankment."and others.

Work on the improvement of new public spaces in the city will continue next year.
