TALLINN, November 10, 2025 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Estonia Mr. Altai Kulginov held meeting with Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs of Estonia Mrs. Liisa Pakosta.

During the meeting, the parties checked watches on topical issues on the bilateral agenda and discussed organizational aspects of the upcoming state visit of the President of Estonia to Kazakhstan.

Special attention was paid to strengthening partnership in the field of information and communication technologies and digital transformation.

Ambassador A.Kulginov highly appreciated the significant experience of the Estonian side in the development of the IT sector and suggested that cooperation in this area should be intensified.

He also informed Minister Pakosta about the recent establishment of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development in Kazakhstan, emphasizing the priority of this area for the country's leadership.

The interlocutors noted the key role of digitalization in the modern world, its importance for increasing the diversification and efficiency of the economy, improving the quality of public services and strengthening international cooperation. The parties expressed mutual interest in implementing joint initiatives and agreed to continue consultations on specific areas of cooperation in the digital sphere.
