Jakarta, November 10, 2025 - At the request of the Institute of Democracy and Education of Indonesia (IDE), a lecture by Ambassador Serzhan Abdykarimov was held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Jakarta, on the topic: "Exploring the spirit of the Great Steppe: building bridges between Indonesia and Kazakhstan in the fields of education and culture".

In his speech, the diplomat highlighted about the formation of the ethnogenesis of the Kazakh nation, various innovations and achievements of the Great Steppe: culture of horsemanship, ancient metallurgy, animal style art, the Golden Man, great steppe Turkic empires, the Great Silk Road, and other historical facts.

During the meeting, the Ambassador answered numerous questions from the postgraduates about the contemporary development of our country in the political, socio-economic, cultural, and educational spheres, as well as the progress of Kazakh-Indonesian partnership in various fields.

The guests watched tourism videos and a photo exhibition about Kazakhstan, tryied Kazakh cuisine, and received informative magazines about Kazakhstan.
