As part of the event, an informational meeting was organized for citizens and entrepreneurs, during which the department’s specialists provided detailed explanations of the key directions and features of the new Tax Code, which will take effect on January 1, 2026.

Special attention was given to the main changes concerning value-added tax (VAT), corporate income tax, and individual income tax. Participants also received information on measures aimed at simplifying tax administration, creating new opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses, reducing the administrative burden, and increasing the transparency of tax procedures.
