Specifically, on November 1, 2025, scheduled preventive and diagnostic measures were launched in the village of Tassay. These procedures cover both young and adult animals, depending on the established schedule and the epizootic situation in the region.

If suspicious symptoms are detected, additional laboratory tests are immediately performed. For this purpose, the animals undergo necessary biospecimens, such as blood, tissue samples, swabs, etc. Timely diagnosis enables the rapid detection of infectious foci and the prevention of further disease spread.

Particular attention is being paid to public outreach. Veterinarians meet with livestock owners to explain the importance of maintaining sanitary and hygienic standards, and to explain proper animal husbandry, balanced feeding, clean water, and regular disinfection of animal housing. Residents are also informed that irresponsible livestock health can have serious consequences not only for the farm but also for the entire community.

Local residents are strongly encouraged to promptly report any suspected cases of the disease to veterinary services. The sooner the source of infection is identified, the sooner the threat can be contained and the spread of the disease prevented.

Animal identification plays a crucial role in ensuring veterinary safety. Mandatory microchipping and livestock census efforts are ongoing in the Karatau District. Each animal receives a unique identification number and is entered into a unified database. This not only enables accurate statistics but also allows for tracking the movement of livestock during sales, transportation, or ownership changes. This system helps manage epizootic situations and significantly simplifies veterinary oversight.

Additionally, during preventative measures, specialists inspect the condition of stalls, sheds, and other outbuildings. Animal owners are given recommendations on disinfecting premises, treating for parasites, safely storing feed, and preventing animal contact with wild carriers of the disease.

Monitoring is also underway for situations where animals may become ill due to improper management—for example, due to an unbalanced diet, a lack of necessary vitamins, or hypothermia. Preventing these factors significantly reduces the likelihood of weakened immunity and secondary diseases.

Agricultural producers are reminded of the need to comply with all veterinary legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as maintaining epizootic safety is a national priority. Any violations may result in administrative sanctions.
