The Abay regional branch of the state corporation "Government for Citizens" has announced the most popular newborn names for 2025. Over the past ten months, residents of the region most often named their children Abay, Islam, Amina, and Yasmin.

Over 6,000 births were registered in the region during this period, 2,000 more than the previous year. Alina and Yasmin are the most popular names for girls, while Abay and Islam are the most popular names for boys. Parents chose each of these names more than twenty times.

As a reminder, you can apply for birth registration in several ways: through the Public Service Center (PSC), through the e-government portal, and through second-tier bank apps. Citizens can also receive the service proactively.

Within 24 hours, the mother of the newborn will receive a congratulatory SMS from the number 1414, with a step-by-step request for information necessary to provide the service.
