On December 3, 2025, an expanded round table discussion took place at the Maikapshagay customs post, involving both post staff and representatives of participants of foreign economic activity (FEA). The event focused on compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning anti-corruption and civil service, as well as the norms of the Code of Ethics for Civil Servants.
The purpose of the round table was to increase the legal literacy of employees and business representatives, foster a sustainable anti-corruption culture, strengthen the standards for the conscientious performance of official duties, and develop an open dialogue between the customs authorities and FEA participants.
During the meeting, participants reviewed in detail the key provisions of the Republic of Kazakhstan laws, "On Combating Corruption" and "On Public Service." They considered issues of liability for corruption offenses, prevention of corruption risks, and adherence to the principles of professional ethics.
Special attention was paid to practical situations arising during the customs clearance process, preventing conflicts of interest, and the need to ensure transparency and increase the level of trust between state bodies and the business community.
The Maikapshagay customs post will continue its systematic work to strengthen anti-corruption standards, comply with legislation, and develop partnerships with foreign trade participants based on the principles of honesty, openness, and professionalism
