Ambassador of Kazakhstan Holds Meeting with Hungary’s State Secretary for National Policy

Budapest, 9 December 2025 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Abzal Saparbekuly, met with Mr. Lőrinc Nacsa, State Secretary for National Policy at the Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary and Member of the National Assembly (Parliament).
During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Hungarian side for the excellent organization of the 7th Meeting of Ministers and Heads of Diaspora Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Budapest on 2 December 2025.
Abzal Saparbekuly provided detailed information about the active work of the small Kazakh diaspora in Hungary, including cultural events and Kazakh language courses, and discussed potential avenues for its further support from the Hungarian side.
In turn, Mr. Lőrinc Nacsa spoke about the state measures aimed at preserving and strengthening the ethnocultural identity of ethnic Hungarians living in neighboring countries and in more distant parts of the world.
Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral humanitarian and intercultural cooperation and agreed to continue joint efforts in supporting ethnic communities abroad and developing mechanisms of intergovernmental cooperation in this field.
