According to the Decree of the Head of State, the meeting of Akim of Karmakshi district Zhandos Yerkinbek with the population continues in the village of Toretam. At the meeting, a number of relevant works and new projects that are being carried out this year in the village of Toretam were announced.

With the support of the akim of the district, a grant was allocated and a "Mobile cinema" was purchased in order to enhance the cultural leisure of young people and residents of the village. Today, this project is used to organize cultural events for the public.

A football field has been installed on Zhankozha Batyr Street. In order to develop youth sports, 28 million tenge was allocated from the district budget, a modern football playground was built and handed over to the population.

It is also known that major repairs are underway at the Toretam Railway Station. Currently, funds from the district budget have been allocated for landscaping and maintenance of the station's territory, an agreement has been concluded with a contractor, and repair work has begun.

The lighting system on the streets of the village also did not go unnoticed. Currently, 963 lamps are operating stably. An agreement has been signed with an individual entrepreneur for 2 million tenge for the maintenance of this system, and scheduled work on lighting networks is being carried out in a timely manner.

The focus is also on the repair of the Toretam–Akai regional highway (5.3 km long). Now the work here is going on in stages.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the district personally received residents, clarified the issues raised and gave specific instructions to the heads of relevant institutions.
