The Kazakh Customs Service traces its history back to December 12, 1991, the date of the creation of a system designed to protect the economic interests of an independent state.

Over the past years, the country's customs authorities have gone through a significant development path. This made it possible to effectively fulfill the key tasks of the department: to prevent the import and export of contraband and prohibited goods, to control the movement of foreign currency, to ensure the ability to make electronic payment of customs duties.

Today, the customs service represents professionalism, responsibility and honor. These are people who ensure border security, trade transparency, and support for bona fide business on a daily basis.

Congratulations to all colleagues on their professional holiday – the Day of Formation of the customs authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are now part of the system of state revenue authorities!
