Amman, December 13, 2025 - The cultural and educational event "Day of the Turkic Language Family" was held at the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center. It became a shining example of strengthening cultural ties and mutual understanding between fraternal peoples.

As part of the program, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan presented a traditional Kazakh yurt, a symbol of hospitality and national identity, as well as treats from Kazakhstan's national cuisine. Guests were treated to dishes reflecting the richness and diversity of the Kazakh culinary tradition. Along with this, elements of the culinary culture of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were demonstrated, which allowed the participants of the event to get acquainted with the diversity of tastes and traditions of the Turkic world.

Guests were particularly drawn to a musical performance on the Kazakh folk instrument, the dombra, organized by Embassy staff, as well as a display of Kazakh national costumes, highlighting the beauty and uniqueness of Kazakh culture. A key part of the program included comparative presentations of the sounds of various Turkic languages, prepared by students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​at the University of Jordan, which vividly demonstrated the richness and uniqueness of the Turkic language family.

Representatives of the Embassies of the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkish media representatives, and business leaders participated in the event.
