At the airport, a brief conversation took place between the President of Kazakhstan and Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.

"I gladly accepted the invitation of the highest leadership of Turkmenistan to come here and participate in such an important event. The agenda presented to us is highly relevant in today's unsettled and unpredictable world, especially in the context of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations. I have no doubt that tomorrow's forum will be successful, and it will be another positive contribution from Turkmenistan to stabilize the global situation and, of course, to strengthen the atmosphere of friendship and cooperation in Central Asia," emphasized the Head of our state.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highly praised the outcomes of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, to Kazakhstan at the end of November and emphasized the need for practical implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.

In turn, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty expressed his gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for participating in the upcoming forum, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, and also addressed key issues of the bilateral agenda.

"Speaking about bilateral relations, we cannot fail to mention the recent state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan, which was held at a high level. The prospects of our cooperation in the economy and in the cultural and humanitarian sphere were discussed. I would like to thank you for your personal contribution to strengthening the relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Through you, I extend my best wishes to the fraternal Kazakh people," said Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.
