Budapest, 3 December 2025 - The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly, held a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of ATEV Zrt., Mr. Levente Zsolt Sipos.
ATEV Zrt. is Hungary’s leading operator in the safe and environmentally responsible processing of animal by-products, contributing to the country’s veterinary, sanitary and environmental protection objectives. The company operates facilities in Debrecen, Hódmezővásárhely, Mátyásdomb and Solt, and provides essential services for the livestock and food industry.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed potential areas of professional cooperation. The Ambassador presented the dynamic development of Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial sector, including the expansion of livestock production, the availability of vast agricultural areas and the government’s efforts to introduce modern, environmentally sound technologies.
A special contribution to the discussion was made by Ms. Ulbossyn Sarybayeva, Foreign Representative of Kazakh Invest in Europe, who provided a comprehensive overview of Kazakhstan’s investment environment and the current priorities of the agro-industrial sector. Her insights helped frame how international expertise and local development goals could be aligned in a forward-looking and practical manner.
Mr. Sipos noted that Kazakhstan’s growing agricultural and livestock base represents an increasingly important market – not only in terms of the safe handling of animal by-products, but also as a potential destination for ATEV’s finished products. He underlined that while ATEV is not an internationally active operator, the company has significant expertise in processing and managing large volumes of animal by-products under strict environmental and veterinary standards.
The parties expressed interest in further exploring how ATEV’s know-how could support Kazakhstan’s efforts in building safe, efficient and sustainable rendering capacities. Possible areas of cooperation may include logistics, facility and process design, as well as mechanical and technological solutions.
The parties agreed to maintain working-level consultations and continue examining options for mutually beneficial collaboration.
