One of the brightest cultural events in the city of Zhanaozen — the Grand Ball–2025 “Shabyt Shuagy” competition — took place at the “Kendirli” House of Culture. The ceremonial evening brought together admirers of classical music and ballroom art, creating an atmosphere of elegance and true celebration.

The centerpiece of the program was the paired waltz competition, which featured 24 couples. A total of 48 performers took to the dance floor, demonstrating a high level of dance training, artistry, and sense of rhythm. The performances by servicemen of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan drew particular attention from both the audience and the jury — eight couples represented military unit 5548.

The harmonious combination of military bearing and the aesthetics of classical dance gave the competition a special expressiveness.

Based on the results of the performances, the jury awarded the title of “Best Prince of the Evening” to Senior Lieutenant Daryn Baimagambetov, Deputy Commander of the 1st Operational Battalion for Educational and Social-Legal Work of military unit 5548 of the National Guard. His confident stage presence, precision of movements, and natural interaction with his partner were highly praised by the judges.

The participation of National Guard servicemen in such cultural projects clearly demonstrates that service in the law enforcement troops involves not only professional and physical training, but also spiritual and cultural development. Events of this kind help strengthen the bond between the military and society and contribute to the formation of a harmoniously developed personality among the younger generation.
