On December 20, the grand opening of a dairy farm with a capacity of 1,075 forage heads, built as part of the investment project of Moyyldy-Baikonur LLP, took place.
The opening ceremony was attended by Akim of the East Kazakhstan region N.Saktaganov, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan V. Berdalin, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Dayrabaev.
The head of the region and the guests of honor were introduced to the facility by the director of VostokAgroHolding LLP, E. Nurbaev.
The project to build a modern dairy farm was implemented by Moyyldy-Baikonur LLP and is one of the largest agro-industrial facilities in the region. Construction of the facility began in April 2024 and was completed in November 2025. VostokAgroHolding LLP acted as the general contractor of the project.
The project was financed from the budget in three tranches. The funds were used to purchase modern forage harvesting equipment and technological equipment from Rota Guido, to carry out construction and installation work, as well as to purchase breeding cattle of the Holstein breed.
The new dairy farm is designed to produce up to 6,000 tons of milk per year. The commissioning of the facility will increase the production of high-quality dairy products, create new jobs and make a significant contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the East Kazakhstan region.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Akim of the region N. Saktaganov noted the importance of implementing such investment projects aimed at developing rural areas, improving food security and introducing modern technologies in animal husbandry. Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Berdalin stressed that the state will continue to support investment initiatives in the agro-industrial complex aimed at introducing modern technologies, increasing productivity and competitiveness of domestic livestock production.
Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Dayrabayev noted that the implementation of such projects contributes to the sustainable development of rural areas, strengthening the country's food security and improving the well-being of the rural population.
