The President announced that the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held in Astana on May 28-29.

Summing up his speech, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev drew attention to the fact that states face complex challenges that require decisive decisions and coordinated action.

The President reminded that next year the Republic of Kazakhstan will assume the chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Head of State expressed his intention to work productively to achieve new successes and increase the benefits of the member states.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, for the successful performance of his duties as chairman of the organization.

As a result of the meeting, a number of documents were adopted.
