SHYMKENT YOUTH THEATRE GIVES SPECIAL CHILDREN NEW YEAR'S LIGHT

On New Year's Eve, the Shymkent Youth Theater held a heartwarming charity matinee for children with autism and special educational needs. About 100 children from the "Kamkorlyk" rehabilitation center under the Shymkent city education department were specially invited to the festive evening and had an unforgettable experience in the theater.
The event was held in accordance with the instructions of the mayor of Shymkent, Gabit Syzdykbekov, with the support of the city administration. The main goal of the evening is not only to give special children a festive mood, but also to instill hope in their hearts, to make them feel the care and kindness of society.
During the morning, a musical fairy tale performance titled "The Stolen New Year" prepared by the creative team of the Shymkent Youth Theater was staged. The images of Santa Claus and Snow White, as well as children's favorite characters - Chiki, Chacha, Bumbum, Lyalya, Wednesday, Sonic, and the Grinch - took the little audience into the world of fairy tales.
The interactive program was a joyous occasion, with children playing games, dancing, singing, and singing. The performance sparked their imagination and helped them develop their creativity. At the end of the evening, each child received a New Year's gift from Santa Claus and left with a smile on their faces.
Rasul Medetov, director of the Shymkent Youth Theater, said during the event:
"Giving joy to children in particular is our heartfelt desire and civic duty. Theater is not only art, it is a place of kindness and hope, trust and warmth. In his Addresses, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pays special attention to the formation of an inclusive society. We would like to express our deep gratitude for the constant support provided by the leadership of the Shymkent city administration in this direction. Thanks to unity, such good deeds are being realized," he said.
This evening, filled with joy and laughter, will surely remain in the hearts of the children for a long time. Such events help special needs children feel comfortable in society, adapt to the social environment, and build confidence in their abilities.
