Dear district residents! The most vibrant, joyful, and festive event of our lives is approaching—the New Year's Eve 2026. Therefore, to avoid spoiling your celebration, it is essential to adhere to fire safety regulations when organizing and hosting New Year's celebrations, both in businesses and at home.
Fire safety rules when installing a Christmas tree:
- The tree must be installed on a stable base.
- Use garlands only with sequential connection of bulbs with voltage up to 12 V.
- It is prohibited to decorate the tree with celluloid toys, gauze and cotton wool.
- Leave lights, garlands and other electrical appliances connected to the power supply unattended.
- Do not use candles, firecrackers, fireworks, or other pyrotechnic products indoors.
Organizations must ensure responsible personnel are on duty, exits and passageways are not blocked, automatic fire alarms are checked, and fire extinguishers at event sites are inspected for proper operation and serviceability. When purchasing pyrotechnics, ensure they are licensed and have a quality certificate. To avoid accidents, carefully read the instructions before launching any pyrotechnics. When setting up fireworks, secure them securely, do not point them toward people or buildings, and do not launch fireworks or salutes in strong winds. Happy New Year to everyone!
