Today, a festive event dedicated to December 22 — Archivists’ Day — was held at the Rukhaniyat Center. The event was attended by Deputy Akim of the district Dias Moldabayev, who congratulated archival professionals on their professional holiday. He emphasized the important role of archivists in preserving historical values and passing them on to future generations, and wished them success in their future work.

During the ceremonial reception, industry specialists were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the Akim of the district, as well as from the Head of the Kyzylorda Regional Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation, for their many years of dedicated service and contribution to the development of archival affairs.

It is worth noting that in 2024, with the support of the regional head, the Rukhaniyat Center was constructed in our district, and the district archive was relocated to a new, modern building. As a result of this systematic work, the material and technical base of the sector has been strengthened, creating opportunities to improve service quality.

In addition, since 2020, the “E-Archive” information system has been introduced nationwide and is now widely used in our district. Currently, 26 government institutions carry out their activities through this system.
