The National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan is home to individuals for whom the concepts of duty and responsibility go far beyond formation and orders. Senior Sergeant Aibol Konysbayev, a serviceman of military unit 5513 (Taraz) of the “Oñtüstik” Regional Command, is a professional with nearly 20 years of service and a devoted father raising eight children together with his spouse.
Aibol Konysbayev serves as a senior specialist sapper in the 1st Combat Support Company of the 1st Battalion. Over the years, he has repeatedly proven his dedication to duty. For 12 years, the guardsman performed the duties of a military patrol leader, carried out patrol and guard service, and ensured public order in the city of Taraz.
However, his greatest pride is his family. Three sons and five daughters are growing up in the Konysbayev household. The eldest son, Bakdaulet, has already made a conscious choice: he plans to dedicate his life to serving the Motherland and intends to enroll in the Police Academy.
Upbringing in the Konysbayev family is based not on words, but on deeds. During open house days, Aibol Konysbayev brings his children to the military unit, shows them the conditions of service, introduces them to the daily work of guardsmen, and explains the role the National Guard plays in ensuring the country’s security.
For Aibol Konysbayev, service does not end when the shift is over. Responsibility, order, and respect for the law are equally important to him both in formation and at home, where he raises his children by personal example.
