On June 23, 2026, an extraordinary session of the eighth convocation of the Kostanay City Maslikhat was held under the chairmanship of Omargali Baigabulov.

During the meeting, issues aimed at the socio-economic development of the city, improving the quality of life of the population, the implementation of the local budget and the improvement of urban infrastructure were considered. The deputies discussed the issues on the agenda in detail and made appropriate decisions.

Special attention was paid to initiatives to improve the well-being of residents, the development of public utilities, as well as topical issues in the fields of education, culture and social protection of the population. The decisions taken will contribute to the further sustainable development of the city and increase the efficiency of local government.

Following the results of the session, relevant instructions were given to responsible government agencies and institutions, as well as mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of decisions taken.
