On February 17, 2026, an extraordinary session of the Kostanay City Maslikhat of the eighth convocation was held. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Kostanay City Maslikhat, Omgali Baigabylov.

During the session, current issues of the city's socio-economic development were considered. The deputies discussed proposals aimed at improving the quality of life of the population, developing urban infrastructure, and implementing priority areas of work.

Following the meeting, appropriate decisions were made, and further steps for their implementation were determined. The work of the Maslikhat was conducted in accordance with current legislation and the principles of openness.

The Kostanay City Maslikhat will continue systematic work to ensure the sustainable development of the city and address issues significant for its residents.
