The village of Zhalgyztal, located 45 kilometers from the city of Arkalyk, Kostanay region, demonstrates stable positive dynamics of socio-economic development.

The total area of the village is 81,912 hectares, of which 20,544 hectares are arable land and 21,207 hectares are pasture lands.
According to the results of last year, there are 580 heads of cattle, 937 horses and 933 heads of small cattle in Zhalgyztal. There are 20 peasant farms, 6 limited liability companies and 2 individual entrepreneurs registered in the village.

The field of education in the village is steadily developing. The T. Aubakirov Basic Secondary School began the 2025-2026 academic year with 39 students. The school has a mini-center with 16 children. The educational institution employs 13 teachers, all with higher education and completed advanced training courses.

The cultural sphere is also actively developing. The rural library has about 3,600 copies of books, of which about 2,000 are in Kazakh. During the year, 58 events are planned, which are being implemented in full. The number of regular readers is 111 people.

The material and technical base of the school meets modern requirements. In 2025, a universal study room was opened at the expense of the Kazakhstan Halkyna Foundation. It is designed for teaching physics and computer science, biology and chemistry, as well as English, and is equipped with laboratory equipment and robotics kits.

The engineering and medical infrastructure is fully provided. All houses are connected to a centralized water supply, the village is fully supplied with electricity and solid fuel. There is a functioning medical center with a sufficient supply of medicines and necessary equipment.

Improved communication and Internet accessibility. Activ, Altel, Beeline and Tele2 networks are steadily operating in the village of Zhalgyztal. In addition, Internet from Transtelecom JSC is installed in all houses.

Within the framework of the memorandum with Karaganda Zholdary LLP, which carried out repairs of the national highway passing near the village, rubble was laid on two streets. The total cost of the completed works amounted to 27 million tenge.

Work on the development of small businesses, improving the standard of living and well-being of rural residents will continue on a systematic basis.
