Familiarization with the Material and Technical Base of School-Lyceum in Baikonur City

Today, the Akim of the region, Nurlybek Naliyev, and the Minister of Education and Science Zhuldyz Suleimenova reviewed the operation and material base of School-Lyceum No. 277 in Baikonur, under the Karmaqshy District Education Department.
The event was also attended by members of the Senate and Mazhilis of Parliament: Nauryzbay Baykadamov, Ruslan Rustemov, Murat Abenov, Markhabat Zhaimbetov, Murat Ergeshbayev.
At the school-lyceum, with the support of the public fund “Kazakhstan Khalkyna”, the following facilities were equipped: an innovative observatory, rocket modeling room, STEM lab, chemistry, biology, robotics, mathematics, physics, geography, history classrooms, primary classrooms, a library, and a specialized TV studio with a total cost of 245.6 million tenge.
Specifically:
- The observatory is equipped with the “Starry Sky” globe, an interactive panel, telescope lens kits, solar filter, video cameras, and planispheres.
- The rocket modeling room includes special kits, laptops, small laboratories, digital microscopes, and launch devices.
- The STEM lab is equipped with a 3D printer and modeling kits.
- The physics lab contains demonstration tools for electricity and optics, natural sciences, molecular physics, and thermodynamics.
- The biology lab includes furniture, laboratory equipment, digital microscopes, microscope slides, wet specimens, and human body models.
- The chemistry lab is equipped with laboratory instruments, chemical reagents, digital lab kits, demonstration sets, a TV studio, specialized computer, cameras, LED lighting kits, acoustic instruments, and a television.
- The ART studio is equipped with pottery equipment and painting materials.
The Minister of Education positively assessed the completed works and outlined upcoming tasks.
It should be noted that intensive work is underway to modernize the material and technical base of educational institutions.
The “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” Fund allocated 12.851 billion tenge for the development of various sectors in the region.
Additionally, 317 subject classrooms in 58 schools were updated for a total of 2.7 billion tenge.
