Budapest, 8 January 2026 - H.E. Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary, held a meeting with Mr. László Wolf, Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of OTP Bank.

During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed his counterpart on the current state of economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hungary, as well as on upcoming economic events. Comprehensive information was provided on Kazakhstan’s investment potential, its favourable business climate, and the opportunities available to foreign investors. The Ambassador encouraged closer cooperation aimed at increasing the interest and engagement of Hungarian companies in the Kazakh market.

For his part, Mr. Wolf highlighted Kazakhstan as a promising and attractive market offering new opportunities for Hungarian businesses and expressed his personal support for the Embassy’s efforts in this area.
