Amman, January 15, 2026 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan H.E. Mr.Talgat Shaldanbay met with the Coordinator of the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center in Amman Prof. Dr.Mustafa Öztürk.

The meeting was held at the initiative of the Turkish Cultural Center in the building of the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Jordan.

Mustafa Öztürk presented Ambassador Talgat Shaldanbay with a certificate of gratitude on behalf of the Center for the Embassy's active participation in the cultural and educational event «Turkic Language Family Day», which took place on December 13, 2025, in Amman.

During the conversation, representatives of the Turkish Cultural Center expressed gratitude for the musical performance on the Kazakh folk instrument, the dombra, arranged by the staff of the Embassy of Kazakhstan. They also praised the demonstration of a Kazakh yurt, a display of national costumes, and a presentation of national cuisine, which, in their opinion, clearly demonstrated the diversity and uniqueness of Kazakh culture and generated widespread interest among the audience.

In turn, Ambassador H.E. Mr.Talgat Shaldanbay thanked Prof. Dr.Mustafa Öztürk and the Center's staff for the invitation and well-organized event, noting the importance of such initiatives for strengthening humanitarian and cultural ties between the Turkic peoples and Jordan.

The parties exchanged views on prospects for further cooperation and agreed to continue close dialogue to develop and implement joint cultural and educational projects aimed at introducing the Jordanian public to the culture of the Turkic peoples.
