On January 16, 2026, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan was elected Chairman of the Association of Military and Special Educational Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The decision was made at the next meeting of the Association.

The Association of Military and Special Educational Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been operating since 2023 and is an interdepartmental platform for cooperation between specialized educational organizations. Since 2024, the organization has been managed by the Academy of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting of the Association was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as 14 educational institutions of the National Security Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The election of the Academy as the chairman of the Association was a confirmation of the high level of trust and recognition of its status as the leading scientific, educational and methodological center of the law enforcement system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Speaking at the meeting, the Rector of the Academy, N.M. Abdirov, stressed that as chairman of the Association, the Academy would coordinate the efforts of departmental educational institutions, promote the development of military and special education systems, strengthen interdepartmental cooperation and introduce modern educational standards and scientific approaches into the educational process.
