At the fifth session of the National Congress, the Head of State announced strategic initiatives that will determine the future direction of Kazakhstan's development. In his speech, the President focused on digitalization, artificial intelligence, and energy security, and outlined concrete ways to raise the country's economy to a new qualitative level.

As the President noted, the 21st century is the era of digital technologies. Kazakhstan has not been left out of this process, and has begun to introduce digitalization and artificial intelligence into all areas of public administration, the economy, and the social sphere. This is not a fashionable slogan, but a strategic decision aimed at real results. Artificial intelligence will become a key tool that will increase management efficiency, reduce decision-making time, and increase labor productivity.

The Head of State has set a priority to improve the quality of human capital through significant investments in education, science, and high technology. This step will strengthen Kazakhstan's global competitiveness and allow the full potential of the new generation to be fully realized.

A reliable energy base is necessary for the sustainable development of the economy. In this regard, the President raised the issue of using coal using modern, environmentally friendly technologies and instructed to grant coal power the status of a National Project. Kazakhstan has about 33 billion tons of coal reserves, which is a strategic advantage of the country. In addition, systematic work will be carried out to develop new gas fields, effectively use the potential of hydropower, and develop nuclear power.

Emphasis was also placed on infrastructure supporting the digital economy. The initiative to create a “Data Processing Center Valley” using the energy potential of the Ekibastuz Basin is an important step towards transforming Kazakhstan into a regional digital hub. Such data centers will strengthen the country’s IT infrastructure and open the way to attracting international investment.
These initiatives of the President are aimed at shaping a new economic model for Kazakhstan, creating a high-tech, energy-efficient and competitive state. This is a solid foundation for long-term growth and stability.
