Skopje, January 15, 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Burshakov met with the Director General of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Antoni Peshev.

During the conversation, the Macedonian side was briefed on Kazakhstan's foreign policy and foreign economic priorities, the key points of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's January interview with Kazakh media, and his November address to the country's rural district akims (mayors).

Particular attention was paid to opportunities for expanding business contacts, boosting mutual trade, measures to establish a Kazakhstan-North Macedonia Business Council, and prospects for participation in mutually beneficial investment projects between the two countries.

To support the mutual readiness for promoting business cooperation in the region, which was confirmed during the exchange of views, the Embassy provided a list of exhibitions and business conferences scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan in 2026, as well as information on promoting Kazakh exports to the Macedonian market.
