Key areas of Kazakhstan-Poland cooperation were discussed in Warsaw

Warsaw, January 26, 2026 - The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Wojciech Zajączkowski.
The sides held a comprehensive exchange of views on pressing issues of Kazakhstan-Poland cooperation, including the schedule of bilateral events for the current year. They confirmed their mutual commitment to deepening political and trade-economic ties, expanding the legal and treaty framework, and strengthening cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere. Special attention was also given to interaction on international organizational platforms.
The Polish side was briefed on the socio-political and socio-economic situation in Kazakhstan, as well as on the development priorities outlined by the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the National Kurultai on January 20, 2026, in Kyzylorda. In addition, the head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission presented the country’s position on key issues of the global agenda.
On his part, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland emphasized that Kazakhstan occupies a special place in Warsaw’s foreign policy priorities in Central Asia and expressed a strong commitment to further developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Astana.
