KazAID and the Royal Thai Embassy discussed cooperation in the field of healthcare

On 30 January 2026, a meeting was held at the KazAID office between Mr. Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Management Board of KazAID, and H.E. Mrs. Orathai Phubunlap Gunaseelan,  Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the preparation of a medical symposium in Astana scheduled for April 2026, with a focus on oncology, as well as prospects for cooperation in the field of medical education. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between KazAID and the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), including cooperation in the areas of healthcare, digitalization, and sustainable development.
