The National Guard Opens the “Cyber Sarbaz” Class

A ceremonial opening of the “Cyber Sarbaz” class of the Zhas Burkit patriotic club took place at Secondary School No. 115 in the city of Astana. The project was implemented at the initiative of Military Unit 5573 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Twenty-three students were enrolled in the class. During the ceremony, they were presented with distinctive telnyashkas featuring a crimson-burgundy stripe — a symbol of the National Guard — Zhas Burkit badge insignia, as well as special identification cards.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Commander of Military Unit 5573 for Educational and Social-Legal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Aslan Orazalin, emphasized the importance of this initiative:
— Mastering the fundamentals of information security by young people is a requirement of our time. The “Cyber Sarbaz” class fosters patriotism, discipline, responsibility, and modern knowledge among the younger generation, — he noted.
Within the framework of the project, alongside patriotic education, systematic efforts are предусмотрены to enhance students’ digital literacy, teach the basics of information security, prevent threats in cyberspace, and develop legal awareness.
It is worth noting that this initiative strengthens cooperation between the educational institution and the law-enforcement forces, demonstrating an effective model for educating the younger generation. The project, implemented by a capital-based military unit of the National Guard, is aimed at modernizing patriotic education in line with contemporary requirements and increasing young people’s sense of responsibility for the future of the country.
