On February 4, 2026, an Open Day was held at the State Revenue Department for the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk as part of the nationwide “People’s Accountant” campaign for residents of the East Kazakhstan Region.

During the event, specialists from the State Revenue Department of the East Kazakhstan Region and the State Revenue Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk, together with a professional accountant from the Professional Association of Accountants “Uchet.kz,” provided taxpayers with advisory assistance on the application of the provisions of the new Tax Code, the procedure for submitting tax reports, transitional provisions for special tax regimes, issues related to VAT registration and deregistration, as well as the specifics of working with information systems.

The “People’s Accountant” campaign is ongoing and will continue until June 30, 2026. Consultations for taxpayers will be conducted on a regular basis in accordance with the approved schedule:

in January–February — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; starting from March — twice a week.
