The republican campaign "People's Accountant", launched on January 5, 2026, is a practical project to support individual entrepreneurs and small businesses.

As part of the campaign, taxpayers can receive free face-to-face consultations from members of the professional organization of accountants "Union of Accountants and Accounting Organizations of Kazakhstan", as well as from specialists of the state revenue departments of Aksu, Pavlodar and Ekibastuz. Responsible specialists have also been identified in the district administrations to clarify the norms of the new Tax Code.

During the first months of the campaign (January-February), the offices of the People's Accountant are open three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10.00 to 13.00. Starting in March, consultations will be held twice a week.

More than 30 consultation days have already passed during the campaign. During this period, more than 3,000 taxpayers received consultations, and over 5,000 questions were asked. This clearly confirms the high demand for the format.

Taxpayers are most often interested in the following questions: - switching to self-employed mode; - opening and closing of sole proprietors in 2026; - transition between tax regimes; - resumption of entrepreneurial activity; - explanation of the procedure for filling out tax forms; - changes to the OKED; - registration for VAT; - operation of information systems and other relevant issues.

The People's Accountant project is primarily about dialogue and practical assistance to business.

Our task is to ensure that entrepreneurs understand the requirements of the new Tax Code and can work safely in the new environment.
